Development process

As a "major development", the Hogs Hill Wind Energy Project will undergo an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) prior to applying for planning permission to Lichfield District Council.

The scope of the studies to be undertaken in the Environmental Impact Assessment has been determined through consultation with Lichfield District Council and Statutory Consultees, following best practice guidelines, and policy.

The EIA is being undertaken by a team of independent specialists, including ecologists, landscape architects, noise consultants and archaeologists, to thoroughly assess the development.

Results of the Environmental Impact Assessment will be shown on this site in the coming months, so please register for updates to be notified when new information becomes available.
